The Private Industry Council’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers Afterschool Enrichment Programs are coming to an end for the 22-23 school year. These programs serve students in the Monessen, Ligonier Valley, Southmoreland, and Connellsville School Districts.

The students had a great year with all of the learning and fun activities. We had learning activities from the Carnegie Science Center Fab Lab, Rivers of Steel, and more.

The students and parents got to learn during our quarterly parent engagement events. We had fun ornament making and tile painting, with speakers such as the Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Association and the St. Vincent Prevention Program. Parents also got to watch an informational video on youth and today’s media.

The students enjoy this program and grew so much.

We are looking forward to our programing in the future. For more information on the 23-24 program, please email our Youth Program Supervisor, Samantha Nicholson at: slnicholson@privateindustrycouncil.com
