On August 4, 2026, Account Representative Chandra Sloboda and Employment Specialist Cindy Redmond represented PA CareerLink Fayette County at the Hoops and Scoops event held at Grant Street Park as part of America’s National Night Out.
The event brought community members together for an evening of fun, recreation, and community engagement. Chandra and Cindy shared information about the wide range of employment, training, and career services available through PA CareerLink, while connecting with local residents and answering questions about available resources. They were also able to throw a few “hoops”. Events like National Night Out provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen community partnerships and help individuals learn about programs that can support their employment and career goals.
