PIC Kidz Zone

Who We Are

The PIC Kidz Zone is the Private Industry Council’s newly added child care center located at our corporate office at 219 Donohoe Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601.

We provide a positive nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years to learn, play, and grow.

How We Serve

In our Infant / Toddler room

Infant / Toddler Room

  • For ages 6 weeks to under 3 years.
  • Child Care available from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided to each child at no cost to the family.

Early Head Start

Our Early Head Start program receives funds from the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, Inc. (COTRAIC) to provide center-based Early Head Start classroom services. The children are enrolled in the childcare center and receives full day/full year services and Early Head Start staff ensures that children are receiving quality care at no cost to the family for those who qualify.

Private Pay and Subsidies

Private Pay slots are available to families who do not qualify for additional funding.

Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) funded slots are available to families who qualify.

 

In our Preschool room

Preschool Room

  • For ages 3 to 5 years.
  • Child Care available from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Pre-K Counts instruction from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
  • Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided to each child at no cost to the family*

Pre-K Counts

Our Pre-K Counts program receives funds from the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to provide free high-quality education for children not yet kindergarten eligible to families who qualify.

Private Pay and Subsidies

Private Pay slots are available to families who do not qualify for additional funding.

Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) funded slots are available to families who qualify.

 

Who We Serve

PIC Kidz Zone serves families with children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

Early Head Start serves families with children 6 weeks to 3 years of age.

Pre-K Counts serves children 3 to 5 years of age who are not yet kindergarten eligible.

Private Pay and Early Learning Resource Center families with children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

Children with disabilities or other special needs are also provided services in collaboration with the local Early Intervention provider or other programs through an IEP, IFSP, or 504 plan.

  • A school readiness plan that provides information that is needed to ensure children are ready for school, their families are ready to support their children’s learning, and schools are ready for children.
