Family Service Workers play a vital role in building strong relationships with the families we serve. They connect families to valuable resources throughout Beaver County, helping ensure children and families receive the support they need to succeed. (FSW Staff pictured below). Through partnerships with local agencies and organizations, we help families access services such as health care, food assistance, housing support, and educational opportunities. Together, we are creating a stronger, more connected community. Regular attendance is essential for a child’s growth and success. Tracking attendance helps us identify and address barriers early, ensuring children benefit from consistent learning experiences and classroom routines. When families are actively involved in their child’s education, children thrive. We encourage families to participate in program activities, communicate with staff, and take advantage of opportunities to engage in their child’s learning journey.
We hosted numerous events to engage not just children but the families who love them.
*We hosted 63 F.E.G. Meetings throughout the program year (August 2025 to May 2026). We had a total of 596 families attend various F.E.G. Meetings in and throughout our program area.
*We offered 7 trainings where we paired with different community resources and agencies to support the families in our program. We had 17 total parents attended in person and virtually. This includes the 14th Annual Parent Training Event.
*We hosted two (2) Male Involvement Events one in the Winter and one in spring. The winter themed event was The Grinch, and the dads or male figures wore pajamas, drank hot chocolate, and a light meal was provided by McDonald’s (cheeseburger, hamburgers, and fries). The second was Spring Carnival with the El Paso restaurant who provided loaded nachos with choice of chicken and beef with toppings. We Had a total of 33 males who attended the two events.
*The End of Year Event was well attended as well. We hosted 18 resource agencies and community resources. A hot dinner was provided by PJ’S Catering along with a choice of drinks and the teaching staff provided different activities around the event location. We had 414 total in attendance, 68 staff, and 180 enrolled children.
Together, we are building stronger families, stronger communities, and brighter futures for the children of Beaver County!
