Since the beginning of COVID-19, Fresh Fire Church has been distributing food out to the community every week. Fresh Fire Church is located at 171 Connellsville St. Uniontown, PA. Pastor Adam and his church try their best every week to make sure that no family is turned away. They distribute a box of produce and a box of dairy out to over 950 families at each distribution. This is a drive thru distribution, so the volunteers load everything into the vehicles. They ask that you do not line up before 9:00 A.M. and do not block any roads or driveways. There are no income guidelines, no pre-registration and everyone is welcome, they also serve families that walk to the church. No one is ever turned away as long as there is food available.

Head Start and Early Head Start of Fayette County staff have been volunteering each week to help with distribution. Volunteers do everything from registering families, to loading boxes in vehicles, to giving information about our services and recruiting new families. Head Start and Early Head Start staff also deliver food boxes to their families that do not have transportation to get to the distribution on their own. Staff have delivered over 100 boxes of food to enrolled families every week.

Fresh Fire Church plans on continuing this distribution in the months to come. Since the beginning of September they had to reduce distribution to twice a month, however they are serving over 1,000 families at each distribution.  The distributions are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 10 AM to 12 PM or when food runs out.

Fresh Fire Church can be reached at 724-580-7027 with any questions.
