We have been learning all about apples in Pre-K at Reserve!

We learned the parts of an apple, the lifecycle of an apple, what foods come from apples, and even tasted different types of apples!

We had the opportunity to try Golden Delicious (yellow), Granny Smith (green), and Red Delicious apples.

We ended our apple week by going to Soergel’s Orchards in Allegheny County and learned all about how apples are turned into apple cider!

It was a great week!
