On Sunday, February 19th, staff from the PA CareerLink® Fayette County participated in TEAM IAN CHARITIES, “Turtle Bowl” to raise funds to “Help Others Run Their Race.” TEAM IAN CHARITIES Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was established in memory of Ian Paul Eckert who passed away in September 2022.

Some of Ian’s biggest fans were in attendance to honor his legacy and support his family’s love for the special needs community. There were 160 bowlers in 2 sessions. As DJ Sean Nice set the fun and upbeat atmosphere, friends spent the afternoon bowling, singing, and simply enjoying quality time with others, all of which were some of Ian’s favorite things to do.

There were door prizes, contests, baked goods for purchase and tickets to win donated raffle baskets.

“I want to personally thank everyone who participated in this event. My nephew made a huge impact on so many people during his 14 years of life. This truly touches my heart.”
