On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, we had the pleasure of welcoming the District Attorney of Westmoreland County to our corporate headquarters in Greensburg. Shujuane Martin- CEO/President of PIC and her education and workforce development team met with with DA Ziccarelli and her spokesperson, Melanie Jones, to discuss current programs offered by the Private Industry Council.

DA Ziccarelli had a chance to visit and hear more about our Dads Matter program, explore our new PIC Smart Lab, play with the children in the PIC Kidz Zone child care center and talk about the many youth programs, including Youth Re-Entry, that we offer here in Westmoreland County! We appreciated the time and attention that DA Ziccarelli gave to us to talk about our workforce and education priorities. DA Ziccarelli also shared with us her new initiative in Westmoreland County called the Handle With Care program for children dealing with trauma. We hope that she returns for another visit soon!
