Reaching Individual Success in Education and Employment (R.I.S.E) – In-School Youth Program

The R.I.S.E. In-School Youth Program is designed to support high school seniors in Westmoreland and Fayette Counties who are enrolled in trade programs at Fayette County CTI, Northern Westmoreland CTC, or Central Westmoreland CTC. Eligible areas of study include HVAC, Auto Body, Electrical, Healthcare Professions, Building and Construction, and Welding.

Participants will receive individualized career counseling, financial literacy education, and complete the “Bring Your ‘A’ Game” soft skills training to earn a nationally recognized certificate.

Each student will also take part in a paid work experience aligned with their chosen field. This hands-on opportunity consists of 180 hours of real-world training at a rate of $13.00 per hour, giving students valuable experience and a head start in their careers.
