The PA CareerLink® Fayette County is proud to announce that we are taking our services on the road!  The Mobile PA CareerLink® Fayette County is offering the same basic services that are located in our traditional setting, and is teaming up with our local libraries to meet the workforce development needs in those areas. Our goal at the PA CareerLink® is to bring our services to those who may have transportation barriers in these communities.

If you are in the areas of the German-Masontown Public Library, Uniontown Public Library, Brownsville Public Library, and the Carnegie Free Library of Connellsville, then we invite you to come and see what services are available to you. Twice a month, a member of the PA CareerLink® staff, who has the Global Career Development Facilitator certification, will be on site two days per month at all of these facilities. Services includes include: enrollment and navigation of the PA CareerLink® website, resume and cover letter assistance, job search assistance,  and career counseling with career path development.

In addition, we are also offering those same services at the Connellsville Area Career and Technical Center for their students. The staff is currently reaching out to the local secondary and post-secondary schools to assist graduating students in gaining employment in their fields. Staff is presenting a workshop series that include resume and cover letter preparation, what to know about completing applications, how to interview and what expectations employers have when interviewing. In this scenario with the mobile PA CareerLink®, we are connecting our graduates to local employers while serving the employers with a skilled workforce.

For more information of when and where we are in the community, please like the PA CareerLink® Fayette County’s Facebook page.  You can find a list all of our events and community days on our page.
