This year we had a safari theme titled “Wild About MMM.”  It was a great success with all the families that attended.  The day consisted of stations for art and craft activities, movement activities, and eating.  Local community representatives were also stationed throughout the venue.

Activities included:

  • Safari themed art activities
  • Oral health activity
  • Gross motor movement activities
  • Box car racing
  • Health food experiences and a Healthy lunch was provided

The space was decorated with safari themed artwork that was completed by HS and EHS children during home visits or in the classroom.  Some of our staff dressed up in an elephant and zebra costume.  We also had a staff dressed up as a banana at one of our healthy food experience booths.  It was a great day filled with fun, food, and family togetherness!
