The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates employment, education and training programs, congratulates Shannon Singosky on her promotion to Vice President of Workforce and Education. Shannon was previously the Director of Education and Workforce Development and brings over 20 years of experience to this position.

The CEO/President of PIC, Shujuane L Martin, states “I am excited to welcome Shannon to my executive team, as she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in leading workforce programs.”

Shannon has spent over 20 years leading and supporting workforce and youth programs at PIC, with more than a decade in management roles.

As Vice President of Workforce Development and Education, Shannon will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Title I, EARN, and youth programs, while also serving as the Director of our privately licensed school, the Education Technology Institute (ETI).

Shannon states, “I’m thrilled to step into the role of Vice President of Education and Workforce Development at PIC. This is an exciting time as we deepen our commitment to innovative programming and meaningful community engagement. I look forward to helping expand our private licensed school and creating new opportunities that truly meet the evolving needs of our workforce and learners”.

Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science from California University of Pennsylvania, now known as PennWest California. With a strong foundation in leadership, compassion, and industry expertise, she is committed to driving service excellence, ensuring high performance, and achieving compliance, contractual, and financial objectives. Shannon also values building strong relationships with the community and recognizing the importance of collaboration in delivering impactful, client-centered services.

When asked what she enjoys outside of work, she shared that she loves spending time with family and friends, heading to camp to make lasting memories, and organizing activities that bring joy to her community and loved ones. The Private Industry Council applauds Shannon on her promotion.
