Happy Valentine’s Day from Connellsville, Connellsville Township, and Mill Run!!

On February 10, 2023, the HS/EHS PIC (Parents Impacting their Child’s Success) Parent group had a Valentine’s Day Dance at Connellsville Township.

In attendance were over 35 Head Start students, 1 Early Head Start student, 71 parents/guardiens, and 40 siblings. The children decorated cookies, played limbo, went on a heart scavenger hunt, and had a dance contest. The children decorated crowns to become the King and Queen of Hearts.

Local businesses also donated pizza, treats, beverages, and decorations for the event. The children and the families had a wonderful time and can’t wait to meet again for future celebrations.
