This programming runs two and a half hours a day after school Monday through Thursday. Students are encouraged to attend four days a week. This program also provides a summer enrichment component. The Summer Enrichment Program is an extension of the afterschool programming. It encourages students to continue learning out of school and not fall victim to “summer slide,” a decrease in student achievement that can result in a long-term achievement gap. There will be a 6-week, hands-on summer program is offered. Participants are engaged in hands-on cultural and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning opportunities.
