PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL OF WESTMORELAND/FAYETTE, INC. ANNOUNCES NEW HIRES AND PROMOTIONS

The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC) has announced a number of promotions and new hires.

Name: John Malone

John Malone of Connellsville was hired as the Youth Programs Supervisor at the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. Malone brings experience and expertise in designing and managing innovative programs for youth from his time teaching at Liberty High School in Fauquier County, Virginia. In his new role, Malone will be responsible for overseeing in-school and out-of-school youth programs across Beaver, Fayette and Westmoreland Counties. Malone will be instrumental in the delivery and growth of the programs while maintaining PIC’s philosophy as existing throughout the mission and vision of the organization.

Malone received his Bachelors of Art in History/Secondary Education from Saint Vincent College where he was a four year member of the baseball team and holds their single season batting record (.464). While attending Saint Vincent College, Malone worked for the Private Industry Council as a summer intern working for the youth department.

 

Name: Collin Beattie

Collin Beattie of Hopwood was hired as the Instructional Technology Supervisor for the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. Beattie is now overseeing all technology usage across Beaver, Fayette and Westmoreland Counties. Beattie will actively work to promote the everyday usage of technology in the workplace and classrooms while educating and assisting educators and employees on proper usage techniques. Beattie will also work to ensure the technology usage throughout the organization continues to uphold the Private Industry Council’s mission and vision.

Beattie earned his Bachelors of Science in Education at the California University of Pennsylvania where he was a member of the Technology Education Association of California. Beattie brings over five year of technology experience with him to this position.

 

Name: Joyce Bendishaw

Joyce Bendishaw of Uniontown was promoted to Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) Manager of Head Start/Early Head Start of Beaver and Fayette Counties. Bendishaw joined Head Start/Early Head Start of Fayette County in 2008 within the ERSEA area. With over ten years’ experience overseeing the ERSEA of over 1,000 Head Start and Early Head Start enrollment slots and the development of an impactful recruitment plan for Fayette County, Bendishaw was promoted to the Management level. Bendishaw will now be responsible for the ERSEA for all Head Start and Early Head Start slots throughout Beaver and Fayette Counties.

Bendishaw received her Bachelors in Management Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh.
